Inspired by Irene Rice Pereira's glass and acrylic artwork "Night Sea" (1951), Night Sea (2024) captures the shimmer and iridescence of the artwork as one views it from different angles, with a constantly evolving timbral palette. Night Sea was written for and performed by the Syracuse University Contemporary Performance Lab.
